The Biden administration has publicly endorsed, at least tepidly, the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP), a development that could augur well for the beleaguered natural gas conduit’s hopes of finally completing a drawn-out construction process.

In a letter to FERC sent last Friday, U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm expressed support for the 303-mile, 2 million Dth/d Appalachia-to-Southeast natural gas pipeline, citing the potential for the project to positively impact the nation’s energy security.
