David Bradley

David Bradley joined the staff of NGI in June, 2007 following eight years of news reporting for Northern Virginia newspapers and more than a dozen years in the telecommunications industry. He received his bachelor's degree in Communications and English from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA., and his master's degree in Information Management from Marymount University in Arlington, VA. David retired in August 2020.

JPMorgan Selling Physical Commodities Business to Mercuria for $3.5B

Following through on a promise it made last year, JPMorgan Chase & Co. said Wednesday it will sell its physical commodities business to Mercuria Energy Group Ltd. in a $3.5 billion all-cash transaction. The deal is expected to close in the third quarter, subject to regulatory approvals.

Con Edison: No NatGas Odor Complaints in Months Prior to East Harlem Explosion

Despite some media reports to the contrary, there were no complaints about possible gas leaks from residents of the two buildings destroyed by an explosion and fire in New York City Wednesday in the months preceding the incident, other than one called in just minutes before the blast, according to Con Edison and New York City officials.
