Citing a need to maintain linepack and protect system integrity, Tennessee issued Monday a Balancing Alert OFO for market-area Zones 5 and 6, saying shippers in those zones were required to maintain an actual daily flow rate not exceeding a tolerance of 2% of scheduled quantities or 500 Dth, whichever is greater, for underdeliveries into the system and overtakes from the system.

Southern California Gas ended a high-linepack OFO Monday after it had been in effect for the previous two days.

Gulfstream canceled Friday a low-linepack Operations Advisory that had been issued two days earlier.

Southern Natural Gas reported an unscheduled unit outage at Hall Gate Compressor Station in east-central Georgia between the Ocmulgee and Wrens compressor stations. Repairs are under way, Southern said, but it did not have an estimated return to service. No impact to FT service was anticipated, but some reduction in available interruptible service could occur as throughput levels are near capacity east of the station, the pipeline added.

CenterPoint has scheduled one day of pipe maintenance for July 26 on its Line F-185 in the South Pooling Area. Operators of nine points will be required to shut in for all or part of the 24-hour period; see the bulletin board for a list. CenterPoint said it currently expects all scheduled deliveries for the affected gas day to be made.
