Transportation Notes

Effective Saturday (April 9) until further notice, Nicor Gas implemented pipeline caps for deliveries to its citygate. The OFO Cap Day "is necessary due to forecasted unseasonably warm weather over the weekend period resulting in reduced system demand," the northern Illinois LDC said. It also halted Nicor Hub interruptible storage injection services until further notice but said withdrawals will continue to be accepted. See the bulletin board for further details.

Citing unplanned engine repairs at various storage area locations, ANR is limiting capacity into its storage facilities to 576 MMcf/d through Tuesday. Based on current nominations, the pipeline said it anticipated the curtailment of interruptible storage services.

Kern River said it expected to complete tie-in activities for the new Milford Compressor Station Friday afternoon, and it increased Veyo Compressor Station operational capacity to 2,104,000 Dth/d beginning with the Intraday 1 nominations cycle for Friday's gas day. Veyo capacity for Saturday through Monday was 2,258,000 Dth/d, Kern River said, but would be cut back to the 2,104,000 Dth/d for tie-in work scheduled for Tuesday through Friday.

Effective last Friday until further notice, Rockies Express said it was at capacity for quantities delivered to the Tennessee interconnect in Guernsey County, OH. Based on current nominations, the pipeline said IT/AOR and secondary quantities were at risk of not being scheduled.

Gulfstream Natural Gas System said linepack was at the high end of its range of acceptable operating levels.
