Northern Natural Gas did not extend a System Overrun Limitation in market-area Zone EF beyond Wednesday.

Westcoast said Tuesday afternoon it was ending the high-linepack OFO that had been implemented a day earlier.

Transco reported being made aware that processing capabilities in the Mobile Bay area have been limited, and as a result it is unable to deliver gas into the Gulfstream system at Coden, AL, that is at or below the maximum heat content of 1,075 Btu per cubic foot that is permitted by Gulfstream’s tariff. Transco said Wednesday it is not allowing Coden deliveries unless the gas tendered there meets Gulfstream’s quality specifications. In an Operational Advisory posted Wednesday Gulfstream confirmed the situation and said it is not accepting gas from either Transco or the Mobile Bay Processing Partners facility that exceeds the limitation on Btu content.

Amplifying on its previous announcement of temporarily being unable to serve offshore platforms because of an onshore lack of NGL takeaway capacity (see Daily GPI, March 2), Destin said NGL carrier Tri-States Pipeline has been shut down for inspection following “unauthorized vehicle activity by a third party” within the pipeline’s right-of-way near Kiln, MS. There is no indication of a leak in Tri-States, Destin said, citing “an abundance of caution” in taking the pipeline out of service until further notice for inspection.

Dominion East Ohio is holding a nonbinding open season through March 15 for the transportation of Ohio production to interstate markets. The LDC said its pipeline system is “uniquely well situated to transport wet or dry gas from eastern Ohio Marcellus and Utica shale formations” to existing interconnections with interstate pipes such as Dominion Transmission, Tennessee and Texas Eastern.
