Gulf South declared a force majeure event due to repairs required at the Carthage Junction Expansion Compressor Station that began Tuesday and will last until further notice. Gulf South said that effective with Timely cycle nominations for Wednesday’s gas day going forward, it is anticipated that scheduled receipts in the “Area 8 to 16 Scheduling Group” will be restricted to Primary Firm only.

East Tennessee Natural Gas said it has limited operational flexibility to manage due-shipper imbalances due to forecasted low demand. Therefore as of Tuesday until further notice it required all delivery point operators to keep actual daily takes out of the system equal to or greater than scheduled quantities, and all receipt point operators to keep actual daily receipts into the system equal to or less than scheduled quantities, regardless of cumulative imbalance positions in either case.

Intrastate pipe Kinder Morgan Texas said Monday it has returned to normal operating conditions following last week’s extreme cold temperatures and precipitation.

An investigation continues on the pipe segment near Station 214 (Carrolton, Ohio) where a suspected rupture occurred last week, Tennessee said. It has four lines there that transport gas from Station 214 to Station 219. Currently, flow is impeded on two of these lines due to the investigation, but based on current estimates, one of the lines currently out of service could resume operations later this week, the pipeline said. Meanwhile, Tennessee cited current nominations in saying it anticipates a possible restriction through 100% of interruptible nominations pathed through Station 214 for Wednesday’s gas day.

Sea Robin Pipeline will shut in the Erath Compressor Station starting Wednesday for scheduled maintenance of an unspecified duration. Interconnects with Columbia Gulf and Henry Hub-Sabine 2-South will be the only delivery points physically available for nominations during the work. All remaining high-pressure delivery points downstream of Erath will remain shut in until further notice. In addition, due to the combined effect of the station outage and the reduced Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure of 984 psig on Sea Robin’s West Leg, IT nominations from 19 West Leg receipt points below will not be accepted until the project is finished.

Southern reported being notified by Southeast Supply Header (SESH) of required maintenance that will reduce available capacity to three meters at the SNG-SESH Interconnect in central Mississippi at two times this month. The first period of maintenance is set to begin Saturday and be completed by the start of the Feb. 22 gas day, during which available interconnect capacity will be 50,000 Dth/d. Capacity will be zero during the second period, which runs from Feb. 26 until the start of the March 1 gas day. Southern said it will declare force majeure in association with each maintenance period.
