After warning Monday that one might become necessary, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Tuesday with a 15% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Southern kept a Type 6 OFO for short imbalances in effect through Wednesday and Thursday, adding that it was “highly likely” to last through Friday also.

Due to cold market-area weather, Tennessee is adding an OFO Action Alert in Zones 5 and 6 Thursday to the Imbalance Warning it issued Monday for six zones (including 5 and 6) (see Daily GPI, Jan. 11).

ANR, which last week had expected to complete a maintenance-related capacity reduction at the NGPL-Joliet Interconnect Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Jan. 5), said Tuesday it now anticipates that the constraint will continue through Thursday. ANR also said Monday it was shutting in the Tiger Interconnect in the Southeast Area Fuel Segment (ME-2A) due to gas quality issues. Until further notice no nominations will be accepted at the receipt point.

NGPL said a gas quality problem at the Noble Cameron receipt point in Cameron Parish, LA, has been resolved and the point is available for nominations again.
