Texas Eastern said repairs are under way in response to an outage at its Bernville (PA) Compressor Station, but it estimated a capacity reduction of about 140,000 Dth/d “through and downstream of Bernville (which includes the capacity loss associated with the Entriken outage).” See the bulletin board for details.

CIG said Sunday it was responding to “a release of natural gas and a fire” at its Latigo Storage Field in Arapahoe County, CO. There were no injuries or service reductions, the pipeline said. Repair plans are under way and restoration is possible by the end of the week, said spokesman Richard Wheatley.

Southern California Gas plans to declare a force majeure for Thursday’s gas day to repair an anomaly between Mainline Valves 9 and 9a. The repair will require a reduction of line pressure in the utility’s Wheeler Ridge Zone, which will result in a reduction of approximately 630 MMcf/d that day, SoCalGas said. “Kern River customers should schedule their gas accordingly and utilize the Kramer Junction delivery meter as necessary to facilitate their deliveries into SoCalGas’ system,” it added.
