After belatedly declaring a customer-Specific Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Tuesday on its California Gas Transmission system, Pacific Gas and Electric will expand the OFO to systemwide Wednesday. Penalties for exceeding a 5% tolerance on positive daily imbalances will be $1/Dth.

Citing low linepack and forecasts of Florida temperatures in the 90s, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Tuesday, setting a 25% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

Tennessee said Tuesday it was lifting an OFO Action Alert for Zones 0, L, 1, 2, 3 and 4. However, an imbalance warning that became effective Oct. 2 remains in effect, Tennessee said. It had already ended the OFO Action Alert for downstream Zones 5 and 6 last Friday (see Daily GPI, Oct. 25).

After implementing a 75 MMcf/d cut of injection capacity Sunday at its storage fields, Southern California Gas ended the restriction Tuesday.

Westcoast said late Monday afternoon it was ending the 100% firm acid gas OPC (overproduction charge) constraint that it had initiated that morning at the Pine River Gas Plant due to an inspection outage of the Kwoen K420 acid gas compressor. Previously the outage had been expected to run through Thursday (see Daily GPI, Oct. 22). “It now appears that at current production levels the amount of acid gas at the Pine River Plant is below what the plant is able to process,” the pipeline said, adding that Grizzly Valley producers were asked to resume flowing at authorized rates.

Questar has scheduled Nov. 9-10 maintenance at its Greasewood Compressor Station, during which deliveries to and from White River Hub will be netted to zero for these two days. In addition, deliveries to TransColorado at the MAP 297 location will be unavailable both days. Based on current nominations, Questar said, deliveries to White River Hub would be reduced by about 50,000 Dth/d; there are currently no nominations at MAP 297.

Alliance said Unit #2 at the Blueberry Hill Compression Station will be unavailable for 12 hours Thursday as it undergoes corrective maintenance. Capacity at Constraint Point #2 will be lowered to 544 MMcf/d for the day.
