In anticipation of valve section 313-1 to 314-1 being placed back in service Friday afternoon, Tennessee said it was lifting the OFO Action Alert in downstream market Zones 5 and 6 that morning. Due to the Bear Creek storage field test and linepack conditions, the Action Alert OFO will remain in effect in zones 0, L, 1, 2, 3 and 4 for all Balancing Parties until further notice, Tennessee said.

Gulf South said Friday it was adding the Samson Resources-operated Blackwell #1 receipt point to three others already identified as being required to shut in during pigging maintenance planned for Monday through Friday this week on Index 228 (the 20-inch diameter Minden Line in northwest Louisiana). Eleven Atmos Energy rural service farm taps will also be affected, Gulf South said.

Columbia Gas (TCO) noted that capacity through the KA Low segment was reduced by another 50,000 Dth/d Friday due to an unexpected outage of unit #2 at Grant Compressor Station. With both units out at Grant, the current capacity is set at 80,000 Dth/d until further notice. In association with the Line P incident last month (see Daily GPI, Sept. 16), TCO said it remains in a force majeure situation. See the bulletin board for possible impacts of the new capacity cut.

An Oct. 18 unit outage at Compressor Station 104 in Barton County, KS, that constituted a force majeure event is limiting NGPL‘s throughput capacity while repairs are being performed; the duration for completion is unknown at this time. Transportation of receipts south of Station 104 for delivery north of the station (including storage) are being impacted. As of last Thursday until further notice, NGPL said it will schedule primary firm and secondary in-path firm transports to 65% of contract Maximum Daily Quantity through the station, adding that ITS/AOR and secondary out-of-path transports will be unavailable.

TGT has planned an expected one day of unscheduled pipe maintenance on the Sharon Carthage system in northeast Louisiana on the discharge side of the Haughton (LA) Compressor Station. In order to achieve the necessary cut in line pressure, TGT said it will reduce the Sharon Carthage West segment along with the Sligo Plant and East Haughton locations, to 180,000 MMBtu/d.

NOVA reported deferring an inline inspection on its Foothills Pipeline Zones 6 and 9 until next year; the project previously had been set for Oct. 25-31.
