On Tuesday and Wednesday this week NGPL will be performing an annual shutdown test as well as an electrical switch gear test on the Louisiana Line at Station 343 in Liberty County, TX. ITS/AOR and Secondary out-of-path Firm transports will not be available through Segment 25 during this time, NGPL said, but it will schedule each contract with primary or secondary in-path rights up to a minimum of 67% of Maximum Daily Quantity (MDQ), assuming that each such contract is nominated at full applicable contract MDQ.

Westcoast is conducting an open season for additional firm service on its Transportation North (Zone 3) facilities between any receipt point and any delivery point within the Zone. The new service would be made available through a multiple phased expansion of Zone 3 facilities to provide up to 600 MMcf/d of new capacity on the Fort Nelson Mainline and up to 200 MMcf/d of new capacity on the Fort St. John Mainline, each to be determined at Westcoast’s discretion. The pipeline said it is responding to strong supply growth in both the Fort Nelson and Fort St. John resource areas, particularly in the Horn River Basin and Montney shale plays. Requests for services are due by 3 p.m. MST Oct. 29; see the T North Expansion documents on the bulletin board for further details.
