Southern noted that it will lose 64% of its available injection/withdrawal capability during a shutdown test of the Muldon (MS) Storage Field that begins Tuesday and runs through the following Monday. Based on current supplies and anticipated demand, Southern expected injection requirements Tuesday to exceed capability by about 75,000 Dth/d.

Northern declared a force majeure Friday at the Kinder Morgan Yates interconnect and cut capacity there to zero to required emergency pipeline maintenance.

Due to an ability to inject or withdraw during the Clay Basin storage facility’s reservoir test scheduled for Tuesday through Oct. 14, Questar said it will not be able to accept any imbalance payback nominations to or from the pipeline during that period. Questar said it is also requiring shippers and point operators to align nominated and actual volumes.

ANR reported completing repairs at Cottage Grove Compressor Station but said it will continue planned engine repairs at various compressor stations along the Southeast Mainline (SEML), which will reduce total SEML capacity (from a base of 1,310 MMcf/d) by 100 MMcf/d through Oct. 19 and then by 60 MMcf/d from Oct. 20 through Oct. 31. Based on current nominations, the reductions may result in the curtailment of Firm Secondary and IT services, ANR said.
