Saying it had completed repairs of electrical problems that began Saturday at Laramie Compressor Station, Wyoming Interstate Co. canceled Monday afternoon an associated force majeure for the Laramie East Constraint (LWE) and restored LWE to full capacity of 793 MMcf/d.
Citing third-party damage, Southern said it had experienced an unscheduled pipeline outage shortly after 7 a.m. CDT Tuesday in Grady County, GA. Due to an engine failure at the Unionville Storage facilities, MRT began limiting its Unionville injection capability Tuesday. See the bulletin board for other conditions related to the partial outage. About a month earlier MRT had lifted a System Protection Warning that was also caused by a Unionville engine failure (see Daily GPI, Aug. 19).
NGPL said it experienced a unit outage Sunday at Compressor Station 106 in Gage County, NE (Midcontinent Zone). The force majeure event will limit station throughput while repairs are being performed, NGPL said. Transportation of receipts from south of Station 106 for delivery north of it (including storage) will be impacted, but as of Tuesday it did not expect any restriction on receipts from Trailblazer. Effective Wednesday until further notice NGPL will schedule primary firm and secondary in-path firm transports through the station to a minimum of 70% of maximum daily quantity (MDQ), "assuming that each such contract is nominated at full applicable contract MDQ through Compressor Station 106." See the bulletin for other details on the outage's impact.
Noting that it is performing mainline hydro tests near the Pleasant View Compressor Station Tuesday through Saturday this week, Northwest said primary firm nomination requests through Pleasant View have exceeded the available capacity of zero. Thus it issued a Declared Deficiency Period that began Tuesday, and it said based on a design capacity of 351,000 Dth/d, the Daily Deficiency Volume is 351,000 Dth/d.
Transwestern said it was forced to postpone a Solar Turbine engine exchange at LaPlata Compressor Station due to unforeseen problems with the testing and shipment of the unit from the vendor. The pipeline said it will reschedule the exchange when the unit is available; it had previously planned the project for Tuesday through Thursday this week, during which station capacity would have been reduced from 500,000 MMBtu/d to 330,000 MMBtu/d. It would have affected the Northwest/Ignacio, Williams/Ignacio and BP Florida interconnects.
