Citing limited operational flexibility and mild weather, Tennessee said a systemwide OFO Action Alert will take effect Saturday for all Balancing Parties. Penalties will apply to all such parties who exceed a positive daily imbalance tolerance of 2% of scheduled quantities or 500 Dth, whichever is greater. “In the event the OFO Action Alert is not sufficient to maintain the operational integrity of the system, Tennessee may issue a Critical Day or an OFO Balancing Alert,” the pipeline said.

Pacific Gas and Electric is lifting Friday a two-day systemwide high-inventory OFO.

Southern said Thursday it has canceled for this year previously planned maintenance on its 10-inch diameter Macon Branch Line in central Georgia. The work had been expected to run for about three weeks from mid to late September and would have caused a suspension of service to the Smarr Power Plant.

Gas Transmission Northwest (GTN) reported completing repairs at Station 8 and has returned the affected unit to service. Effective Thursday best-efforts throughput capacity at Kingsgate was increased to 2,650 MMcf/d, GTN said.
