Florida Gas Transmission kept a market-area Overage Alert Day that was issued Monday in effect through at least Tuesday and tightened the tolerance for negative daily imbalances from 20% to 15%.

Pacific Gas and Electric did not extend a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO beyond Tuesday.

Southern said a maintenance project at Main Pass 46 that previously was set for Aug. 15-21 had been delayed by weather and now is expected to begin Wednesday. Two Main Pass 46 meters will be shut in during the work. Southern also reported experiencing an unscheduled engine outage at Albany (GA) Compressor Station, and based on information available the unit is not expected to return to service before Friday. Meanwhile, the pipeline said, its ability to serve customers downstream of Albany in excess of their hourly entitlements may be limited.

Northwest limited available capacity at Cisco Compressor Station to 335,000 Dth/d Tuesday. The pipeline noted that although it initially did not expect ongoing anomaly investigations between the Rangely and Cisco stations to impact customer service, “recent increases in nominations in combination with high ambient temperatures and pressure restrictions from the investigations have resulted in operating conditions that will no longer allow Northwest to mitigate the impacts related to the work.” If primary nominations exceed Cisco’s available capacity, Northwest said it may declare a deficiency period and allocate nominations accordingly. The limitation will continue until the anomaly investigations conclude on Oct. 1, or operating conditions allow scheduling of all primary nominations.

During pipe maintenance scheduled for Saturday through Monday on its Le Sueur branch line, Northern will have a System Overrun Limitation in effect at the St. Peter #2/Unimin Town Border Station and will limit the location to primary firm capacity.
