Florida Gas Transmission ended Saturday an Overage Alert Day that had been in effect continuously since July 8.

Northern Natural Gas will perform maintenance Tuesday through Thursday at its Enogex-Sandstone interconnect, during which capacity there will be zero.

An engine failure that began July 28 at MRT's Unionville storage facility and is limiting injection capability is now expected to last through about Thursday. Previously the pipeline had projected ending the restriction last Friday (see Daily GPI, July 28).

Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) said maintenance at Kettleman Compressor Station that began Monday and will run through Friday is limiting Baja Path capacity to 75%, or 860 MMcf/d, of normal volumes. More work at Kettleman will cause Baja limits of 850-860 MMcf/d on Aug. 16-17. A further reduction to 73%, or 830 MMcf/d, will be required Aug. 18-20 due to a combination of more Kettleman maintenance and pipe replacement on the L-300A Line, PG&E said.

Rockies Express (REX) said Friday afternoon it was issuing an Advisory Action Notice "to attempt to alleviate and forestall the development of a situation where the operational integrity of its system upstream of the Cheyenne Compressor Station is jeopardized." When necessary to maintain integrity, volumes at receipt points must flow ratably, REX said, and nonuniform rates of flow upstream of Cheyenne are creating high-pressure conditions. It advised shippers that volumes received at these points should flow ratably (1/24 times the nominated 24-hour volume). "If sufficient actions pursuant to this Advisory Action Notice are not taken to alleviate the problem, REX will issue a Directional Notice to address this situation or take such other actions within its control to alleviate the situation," the pipeline added.

Head bolt repairs on the Clarke #5 unit at South Needles are causing a capacity loss of 40 MMcf/d at El Paso Topock for an undetermined time, Southern California Gas said.
