Florida Gas Transmission had an Overage Alert Day nearing the end of its third week in existence Monday, keeping the tolerance for negative daily imbalances at 20%.

Operator Northern Natural Gas said it had received confirmation that all gas production on the Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System (MOPS) was at sufficient volumes to allow normal pigging and corrosion control operations to resume in all of MOPS. Based on this information, Northern said, effective Tuesday it would again accept liquids transportation from all platforms connected to the Matagorda Offshore Pipeline System on the phase I, phase II and phase III segments.

Gulf South said it will begin about five days of planned maintenance on Unit No. 7 at Montpelier Compressor Station at the start of the Aug. 9 gas day, which could reduce station capacity by as 50,000 Dth/d.
