MRT said it will lift at the start of Tuesday’s gas day the cold weather-based System Protection Warning that went into effect Sunday.

Noting that it had exchanged the engine on the #2 unit at Salt Lake Compressor Station during a scheduled March 10-12 outage, Kern River said the new engine is not performing to expected specifications and will be replaced on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. During this outage Veyo operational capacity will be 1,965,000 Dth/d during all nomination cycles for Wednesday’s gas day and the Timely, Evening and Intraday I cycles for Thursday’s gas day, increasing to 2,023,000 Dth/d for the Intraday II cycle Thursday. These represent reductions from the average Veyo operational capacity for April of 2,081,000 Dth/d, Kern River said.
