Due to fabrication problems on Line 1300/1301, a total outage of the San Juan Crossover has been extended through nomination cycles 1 and 2 Friday, El Paso said. Zero capacity on the crossover previously had been scheduled to end after Thursday’s gas day (see Daily GPI, May 14). “Barring any more unforeseen problems, the capacity can possibly be raised to 584 MMcf/d for [Friday’s] Cycle 3…which will include the reduction of 44 MMcf/d due to one section of Line 1301 remaining out of service,” the pipeline said. Restoration of full crossover capacity of 628 MMcf/d is set for Saturday.

Westcoast will activate a 42% constraint on acid gas operations Friday at its Pine River Gas Plant in preparation for a total outage for a plant turnaround starting Sunday. The turnaround is expected to last about a month and curtail an estimated 330 MMcf/d of supply.

CenterPoint issued an Operational Alert about planned maintenance at Ruston (LA) Compressor Station (Perryville Hub-South Pooling Area) that will start June 4 and last about two weeks. During this work, Perryville Hub capacity will be limited to primary firm delivery obligations only, CenterPoint said. No IT, Secondary or Wheeling Services will be allowed, except that secondary deliveries at Perryville Hub by shippers with primary delivery points there may be allowed on a case-by-case basis based on operational impact, it added. Should operational conditions require it, a pro rata reduction of primary firm delivery obligations may be implemented.
