Belen Station became unavailable Wednesday morning due to surge control valve problems, El Paso said, adding that parts are being shipped in and if all goes well, the station will be returned to service Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, Belen’s outage has changed a capacity reduction of the San Juan Crossover from 29 MMcf/d to 75 MMcf/d through Friday.

Sea Robin Pipeline began maintenance and repairs Thursday at its offshore Vermilion 149 Compressor Station, which is limiting station capacity to 600 MMcf/d. How long the work will last is undetermined, a spokesman said; Sea Robin will post a bulletin board notice when it is finished.

TGT will perform maintenance Saturday on its Lake Pagie System in South Louisiana, requiring that 13 production locations be shut in for approximately one day.

Gulf South has scheduled about eight hours of compressor maintenance at its McComb (MS) Compressor Station starting at 8 a.m. CDT Monday. Nominations using the Hattiesburg Gas Storage and Petal Gas Storage locations will be confirmed and scheduled, the pipeline said; however, physical flow at those points will be unavailable for the duration of the work, and mainline capacity could be reduced by as much as 75,000 Dth/d. Gulf South does not anticipate any interruptions to service during the maintenance period.

Kern River estimates that a Goodsprings Compressor Station unit that had a mechanical failure will be back in service Saturday, but said the actual date on which the unit is placed back in service will not be known until the unit has been completely disassembled. Until that time Goodsprings operational capacity will remain at 1,655,000 Dth/d.
