Southern California Gas extended a high-linepack OFO through Sunday, then allowed it to lapse Monday.

Pacific Gas & Electric did not extend a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO beyond Saturday.

Florida Gas Transmission ended Saturday an Overage Alert Day that had been in effect for the previous two days.

No injuries were reported when a 22-inch diameter section of Panhandle Eastern exploded before dawn Sunday in a farm field in Sangamon County, IL, south of the state capital of Springfield, and sent a fireball several hundred feet into the air. The section was isolated quickly and the fire burned itself out shortly after 6 a.m. local time, allowing an estimated 50-75 people who had been evacuated as a precaution to return to their homes, a Panhandle spokesman said. There were no service interruptions, he said, because gas demand is not very big at this time at this time of year anyway and there are parallel lines to bypass the rupture site. An on-site team was investigating Monday, but no cause has been determined yet, the spokesman added. He did not know the affected gas volume.

Transwestern reported experiencing a force majeure event at the Leupp Compressor Station in Arizona. The station is currently down for repairs that have been ongoing since Saturday, Transwestern said, adding that it expects to return the station to service Tuesday, when the Thoreau/West System capacity will be increased from 1.05 Bcf/d to about 1.21 Bcf/d.

As required by federal regulations, MRT said it will soon be undertaking multiple pipeline integrity projects across its system that may cause capacity restrictions and/or outages may occur from time to time. An annual maintenance outage is scheduled for May 1-15 at Unionville Station, which will reduce West Line capacity to 102,000 Dth/d. An integrity project is set for May 1-June 30 on the East Line, and pressure reductions and/or line outages may occur from time to time, MRT said. If outages occur, receipts from Trunkline and/or NGPL may be affected, it added.

Due to a new receipt point being added on its mainline, Columbia Gulf said it “anticipates increased supplies that may limit operational flexibility.” Therefore it will implement an internal constraint Tuesday at the discharge of the Delhi (LA) Compressor Station. Columbia Gulf said it can accept nominations for total receipt quantities through Delhi up to 2,014,680 Dth/d, and the available quantity will be posted daily on the Navigator bulletin board daily.

NGPL rescheduled remediation work on five girth welds at Station 102 in Beaver County, OK, for May 8-10. The project previously had been set for May 23-27. See the bulletin board for a list of five points that will be unavailable for the duration of the work.
