NOVA now projects that repairs of a leak on the Marten Hills Lateral will be completed May 1. NOVA previously had thought work on the leak, which was discovered April 22 and is affecting an estimated 33.7 MMcf/d of production, would be finished last Saturday (see Daily GPI, April 25). “Investigation and analysis of the cause is ongoing,” a bulletin board posting said. “Until this is completed, we cannot determine when the line will be returned to service.”

NGPL said that due to a continued gas quality problem at the Enbridge-Goodrich receipt point in Polk County, TX, effective last Friday “a limited amount of flow will be received at this point until further notice.” A day earlier Gulf South had also reported gas quality issues at the Goodrich (from NGPL) and Goodrich (from Enbridge) interconnects on its West 30-inch diameter transmission line (see Daily GPI, April 27). A Gulf South spokeswoman confirmed that the pipeline did shut in the two points Friday, as it said it would do unless the problem was corrected. NGPL also said a gas quality problem has been reported at the Transwestern-Gray receipt point in Gray County, TX, and added that effective last Friday the point would be unavailable until further notice.

Transco reported being informed by Regency Gas Services, operator of the Tilden Plant in McMullen County, TX, that a plant shutdown is scheduled for May 8-11. Transco said it will not accept nominations at the Tilden Tail meter during the outage.

Gulf South revised again the expected completion date for unscheduled maintenance on Montpelier Compressor Station’s Unit #4 that began Feb. 28, but this time it moved the date forward from the previously announced May 5 (see Daily GPI, April 24) to May 2. Gulf South also said it will begin 14 days of scheduled maintenance on all compressors at Montpelier on May 2. One unit at a time will be down, and capacity through the station could be reduced by as much as 75,000 Dth/d, the pipeline said.
