Southern California Gas did not extend a high-linepack OFO beyond Wednesday.

Repairs to correct problems caused by liquids entering Station 823 (see Daily GPI, April 18) is ongoing and is anticipated to continue for the next five to 10 days, Tennessee said Wednesday. It reminded customers that restrictions may continue to be required through a pro rata portion of Secondary Out of the Path nominations pathed through Station 823 while the work continues.

As the weather warms up, it is becoming increasingly difficult to physically move more than design volumes through the Kemmerer and La Plata B Compressor Stations, Northwest said in a bulletin board notice, adding that nominations through those stations have recently exceeded their design capacities by as much as 40,000 Dth/d and 16,000 Dth/d, respectively. “Continuing this trend reduces Northwest’s ability to reliably operate its system and preserve its system flexibility for the benefit of shippers through the use of its Jackson Prairie and Clay Basin storage accounts. As a result, Northwest is requesting assistance from its customers to voluntarily reduce their nomination requests to the design capacity through these two points. In complying with this request, customers will be able to avoid being subject to an Operational Flow Order (OFO) over the coming months.”

Citing an emergency situation, Dominion said Wednesday it is making unscheduled repairs behind Swiger and Stuart Stations that require all producer compression in bubble 4205 to shut in until further notice. The pipeline added that it hopes to resolve the problem “soon.”
