Therefore, zero non-firm capacity is available to the those areas.

Algonquin urged all shippers and point operators to review demands for gas and schedule gas consistent with daily needs and to tender and receive gas consistent with confirmed nominations. In order to maintain operational flexibility and system reliability for firm transportation, Algonquin said it may take action to ensure shippers limit the due pipeline daily variance between scheduled deliveries and actual deliveries to 2% or less. In such an even, any deliveries that exceed scheduled deliveries by greater than 2% would be charged a penalty equal to three times the Gas Daily posting for the high common price for the Algonquin Citygate on the day the violation occurred.

Florida Gas Transmission called an overage alert day with a 25% tolerance for Monday’s gas day because of near freezing temperatures in its market area.

Southern Natural said its working gas levels in storage totaled 49% of capacity on March 1, compared to 61% at about the same time last year and 43% at about the same time in 2005.
