Northern Natural Gas is ending Friday a System Overrun Limitation for all market-area zones that began Tuesday.

Because of forecasted weather in its service area, TGT said it is closely monitoring the impact on its storage withdrawals. The pipeline said it “fully expects to meet all of its firm service obligations,” but as of Thursday until further notice it is unable to support interruptible service withdrawals above 140,000 MMBtu/d. In addition, no authorized withdrawal overruns, imbalance paybacks from TGT and no Loan services are being allowed.

Signaling an easing of low linepack levels, NOVA restored its system imbalance tolerance range to the normal -4/+4 Thursday.

Repairs at Fidlar Compressor Station will be completed during Friday evening as anticipated (see Daily GPI, Feb. 1), Questar said, and ML 80 capacity will increase to 280,000 Dth/d beginning with Cycle 1 nominations for Saturday’s gas day.

Florida Gas Transmission began scheduled maintenance Thursday on one of the two mainlines running in parallel between Compressor Stations 6 and 7; the work is expected to last through the end of February. During this time FGT will schedule up to approximately 325,000 MMBtu/d through Station 7. During normal operations it schedules up to 467,000 MMBtu/d there.
