Columbia Gas reminded Firm Storage Service (FSS) customers of a section in their rate schedule requiring that account volumes on Feb. 1 not exceed 65% of the Storage Contract Quantity (SCQ). Additionally, the maximum inventory on April 1 shall not exceed 25% of SCQ, Columbia said, adding that failure to comply with the April 1 requirement may result in forfeiture of quantities above the 25% level.

Florida Gas Transmission will begin maintenance Jan. 22 on one of the compressors at Compressor Station 6 in Orange County, TX. The work is expected to last through the end of the month, during which the pipeline will schedule up to approximately 225,000 MMBtu/d through the station. During normal operations it schedules up to 300,000 MMBtu/d.

In an update on the Hurricane Katrina-related force majeure situation upstream of Toca Compressor Station in southeast Louisiana, Southern Natural Gas said it has completed sufficient repairs to its facilities to resume accepting nominations at the Mississippi Canyon 194 receipt point.
