Northwest implemented a Declared Deficiency Period at the Pleasant View Compressor Station Wednesday that is expected to last through Saturday. It referred to a previous posting about pigging data that revealed anomalies in the Pleasant View-to-La Plata Compressor Station corridor requiring immediate repair (see Daily GPI, Dec. 19). “Pressure restrictions required to safely complete the repairs have reduced the operating capacity at the Pleasant View Compressor Station to 275,000 Dth/d and current Primary nominations for gas day 12/20/06 are in excess of 310,000 [Dth/d],” the pipeline said, adding that the design capacity at Pleasant View Compressor is 352,446 Dth/d, resulting in a daily deficiency volume of 77,446 Dth/d.

Citing a force majeure event in which third-party damage to a tie-line in Michigan caused a rupture that killed an nonaffiliated worker (see Daily GPI, Dec. 20), ANR said Tuesday afternoon that effective immediately until further notice it needed to inspect and repair its pipeline segment just west of the LaGrange Compressor Station. It isolated the 22-inch diameter and 24-inch diameter line segment between Main Line Valves 82 and 83 in Cass County. During this work the total Bridgman East CFTP capacity will be limited to 650 MMcf/d, ANR said. Based on current nominations, it anticipated that the reduction may result in the curtailment of Firm Secondary and IT nominations through Bridgman East CFTP.

Questar is holding an open season through Jan. 10 to solicit binding support for construction of additional facilities at its Greasewood Interconnect in northwestern Colorado. The facilities would provide about 25,000 Dth/d of firm transportation capacity targeted at serving new and existing Piceance Basin production. Potential receipt points include all of them on Main Line 68 from Divide Creek to Greasewood with available meter capacity, Questar said. The delivery points available for this capacity are TransColorado and anticipated interconnects with Rockies Express Pipeline at Meeker and Wyoming Interstate Company‘s Piceance Lateral at Greasewood. See the bulletin board for further details, or call marketing representatives Tom Myrberg at (801) 324-2978 or Martin Anderson at -2017.
