As a result of market-area temperatures changing dramatically “with significantly below normal temperatures expected for the next several days,” Transco ended Thursday an Imbalance OFO that had been implemented Tuesday (see Daily GPI, Nov. 15).

MRT said it will lift a System Protection Warning (see Daily GPI, Nov. 16) effective with the start of Friday’s gas day.

NOVA anticipates that the “B” recompressor at its De/Re facility on the Foothills System will be operational again following completion of the verification of operating systems and modifications to the unit to ensure a safe start-up. It is expected that the combined capacity of the “B” and “C” units will allow about 1.8 Bcf/d to flow to extraction plants, the pipeline said. It is continuing with repairs to the “A” unit of the De/Re facility.

Noting that its Amarillo Station remains unavailable pending resolution of controls problems (see Daily GPI, Nov. 11), El Paso said Thursday that under current operating conditions the impact to station capacity has risen from 80 MMcf/d to about 105 MMcf/d from a base capacity of 345 MMcf/d. The further reduction of capacity took effect until further notice with Thursday’s Cycle 1 nominations.

Kern River reported completion of Goodsprings Compressor Station maintenance and said system capacity was increased to normal levels beginning with the Intraday 1 nominations cycle of Thursday’s gas day.

Effective Friday, Columbia Gulf will begin accepting up to 40,000 Dth/d of receipt nominations from Discovery Gas Transmission.

Due to current operating pressures between Enterprise Intrastate and Tennessee at the Sabine River Interconnect, Tennessee will restrict all receipts nominated at the interconnect meter effective with Timely Cycle nominations Friday until further notice.

TransCanada is holding an open season for existing capacity on its mainline through 3 p.m. MST Nov. 29. The open season will be for FT Service and Storage Transportation Service with commencement dates starting Dec. 1 unless otherwise specified. TransCanada has suspended its Daily Open Season process for the duration of the current open season.
