Due to high linepack, Tennessee declared a Critical Day 1 OFO, effective Saturday until further notice, for all LMS-PA, LMS-MA and LMS PL balancing parties in Zone 0. Affected parties who exceed a tolerance of 2% of scheduled quantities or 1,000 dekatherms, whichever is greater, will be assessed penalties of $5/Dth plus the applicable Regional Daily Spot Price, Tennessee said. “In the event the Critical Day 1 OFO is not sufficient to maintain the operational integrity of the system, Tennessee may be required to issue a Critical Day 2 OFO or an OFO Balancing Alert,” it added.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Saturday. It carried penalties of $1/Dth for positive daily imbalances exceeding a 5% tolernance.

Southern California Gas extended Friday’s high-linepack OFO through at least Saturday.

Southern Natural Gas said Friday it was unlikely to issue a Type 6 OFO for Saturday, but it was “too close to call” on such an OFO for long imbalances Sunday and Monday.

Gulf South will perform pigging maintenance Nov. 15-Dec. 2 on its 24-inch diameter Index 266 segment in Louisiana from Loggy Bayou to Sterlington. It said the work could affect capacities by as much as 125 MMcf/d in East Texas and by as much as 150 MMcf/d each in North Louisiana and from Olla Station south.
