Transwestern will reduce WT-2 Station capacity by 120,000 MMBtu/d Thursday due to unplanned maintenance involving repair of a cooling tube. Ten points will be affected by the cut. WT-2 will return to normal capacity of 600,000 MMBut/d Friday.

At the beginning of Thursday’s gas day Northwest will initiate a Declared Deficiency Period that is expected to last 24 hours. Northwest is replacing several segments of the mainline containing anomalies that were discovered during the “Vernal Anomaly Digs” project that occurred last spring and summer. The segments are located just north of the Cisco Compressor Station between mileposts 231 and 240. northwest has set up a new cut point called “Cisco Anomaly Cut 2” at the location of the work. During the Deficiency Period, the available capacity at Cisco Anomaly Cut 2 will be zero; its design capacity for southbound flows is 359,000 Dth/d. Northwest also said due to recent excess north-flow nominations through Vernal Compressor Station that have caused high line pressure problems on the south end of its system, it will invoke an OFO Friday if Vernal nominations for that day exceed 360,000 Dth/d in the Timely Cycle.

North Mainline capacity is reduced through Sept. 25 by 200 MMcf/d from a base of 2,238 MMcf/d due to Navajo Station being down for replacement of all station controls through Oct. 3, El Paso said. The reduction will increase to 285 MMcf/d on Sept. 26 and then to 420 MMcf/d Sept. 27-28 and to 430 MMcf/d Sept. 29-30 because of a pigging of Line 1204 between Hackberry and Topock Stations Sept. 27-30 and Williams Station being down for mechanical inspection and regenerator repairs Sept. 26-30, the pipeline added.

Trunkline announced it has recently cleared previously shut-in Gulf of Mexico production points for flow: South Timbalier 229 to South Timbalier 175-Offshore Energy, Grand Isle 78-Sonat and South Timbalier 187-LLOG Exploration.
