Pacific Gas & Electric declared a systemwide Stage 2 high-inventory OFO for Wednesday. Penalties of $1/Dth will be assessed against customers who exceed a 5% tolerance for positive daily imbalances.

With 90-degree temperatures in the Florida forecast, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day notice Tuesday for customers in its market area. The notice had a 20% tolerance for negative daily imbalances.

El Paso postponed until further notice the pigging of Lines 1204 and 1113 between the Hackberry and Topock Stations that had been scheduled for Tuesday through Thursday of this week (see Daily GPI, June 6). The pipeline was restoring capacity of the North Mainline and Havasu Crossover to their normal base levels Tuesday.

Questar said Monday it had corrected a mechanical failure at its Clay Basin storage facility that occurred Saturday morning and cut capacity to 255,000 Dth/d. Capacity was returned to 300,000 Dth/d effective with Monday’s Cycle 3 nominations. Questar also said that at the request of customers and due to scheduled line work by other pipelines, it rescheduled maintenance on Clay Basin’s compressor piping for Thursday. To facilitate the work, injection nominations will be reducted to 175,000 Dth/d in Cycles 1, 2 and 3 that day, but will increase to 375,000 Dth/d in Cycle 4.

Transco has scheduled repairs to its offshore Southeast Louisiana Lateral next month. The work will require that the Ship Shoal 332 and 354, South Timbalier 316 and 317 and Green Canyon 205 production platforms be shut in for about two weeks from July 12 to July 26, the pipeline said. It estimated that about 100 MMcf/d of supply will be affected.
