Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day noticeWednesday with a daily imbalance tolerance of 15%.

Sonat reported getting a verbal commitment that all gas upstreamof the Toca (LA) Processing Plant will be processed starting withtoday’s gas day. However, it advised shippers that “this commitmentis not for a specified period of time and could be subject tochange.” The pipeline said it will continue to postpone plans toshut in gas upstream of Toca that exceeds the tariff specificationfor heavier hydrocarbons, but if processing has not recommenced byabout 9 a.m. today, those plans will be reinstated immediately.

Northern Natural Gas said Wednesday that although the Bushton(KS) Plant operated by Oneok Field Services “is still running atthis time” (see Daily GPI, Jan. 10), additional gas needs to beprocessed or conditioned to avoid any scheduling rejections becauseof noncompliance with Northern’s quality specifications. Thepipeline said it “continues to closely monitor the matter anddiscuss the situation with Oneok.”

Tennessee said it is encountering high Btu levels on the LarosaLateral in South Texas, and they are causing customer complaintsthat the delivered gas is interfering with proper operation ofvarious lines, regulators, meters and appliances on the lateral.Starting today, Tennessee will not accept nominations at Larosa’sseven receipt meters if the point operators tender out-of-spec gas.

CIG will hold a Jan. 26 customer meeting in Denver to discussthe status and timing of the rollout of new transportationservices. This will update information provided at a shippermeeting last fall in Breckenridge, CO. El Paso has postponed Line 1300 and Line 1301 maintenanceprojects on the San Juan Crossover until February. FlagstaffStation and the Navajo 2D turbine will be down Jan. 22-23, cuttingNorth Mainline capacity by 50 MMcf/d. One Rio Vista turbine will bedown Jan. 22-25, limiting capacity of the IEXCPT37 and IGCNMX37interconnects to a total of 125 MMcf/d.
