Transportation Notes

Due to scheduled maintenance, one compressor unit will be unavailable at Koch Gateway's Koran (LA) Station for 30 days starting Oct. 2, reducing station capacity by 22 MMcf/d. Work lasting about 30 days began Tuesday on a unit at the Montpelier (LA) Station, cutting capacity on the 30-inch Kosciusko Line from Montpelier by 50 MMcf/d.

Effective Oct. 1, NGPL's Mooreland Lateral in Woodard County, OK, will be sold to Western Gas Resources. At that point all transportation from 16 points on the lateral will cease on NGPL and must be nominated through WGR.

Iroquois is taking bids through Oct. 3 on a backhaul package of up to 5,000 Dth/d of firm transportation under Rate Schedule RTS from South Commack, NY to the Waddington, NY interconnect with TransCanada at the Canadian border. The service would begin Nov. 1, 2000 and end a year later; however, shippers may bid for shorter terms in monthly increments.
