Transportation Notes

Due to unplanned repairs on the Sullivan City Line in South Texas, 10 meters upstream of valve 407D-102 will be out of service for the next seven to 10 days, Tennessee announced late Tuesday afternoon.

Transwestern will take the #3 compressor down for maintenance at Station 3 (Leupp, AZ) Thursday and Friday, reducing West of Thoreau capacity by about 140,000 MMBtu/d.

Florida Gas Transmission will conduct hydrostatic testing Oct. 20-Nov. 30 on two sections of its 22-inch mainline directly downstream of Station 4 in Zone 1. The outage will occur between mainline valves 4-0 and 4-2 in Matagorda and Brazoria Counties, TX, and cut flows into FGT from the MOPS and Magnet Withers receipt points to zero. The Coastal States Damon delivery point will be shut in. All gas entering FGT upstream of Station 4 must be delivered upstream of the station. The first receipt point for delivery to the Florida market will be NGPL Jefferson.

After taking competitive bids on third-party storage service to be used for potential temporary balancing requirements beginning Oct. 1, Tennessee awarded contracts to Hattiesburg/Petal Gas Storage Companies in Mississippi on the 500 Leg and Egan Hub Partners, L.P. in Louisiana on the 800 Leg. The companies were chosen on the basis of the most affordable injection, withdrawal, inventory and fuel charges.
