Columbia Gas will begin its Line KA 2000 replacement projectWednesday and anticipates a 90-day outage contingent on operatingconditions and weather. There will be zero non-firm capacity at 11receipt points while the project is under way.

Responding to expressed shipper interest in moving additionalgas from the Cheyenne Hub area south to Front Range markets sincethe close of a similar open season on Aug. 13, 1999, CIG is holdinga new open season through Sept. 20 for expanding parts of itssystem serving all markets between Cheyenne Hub and Valley Linedelivery points. Participants in last year’s open season need notsubmit new bids. CIG said it will try to have the expandedfacilities in service by October 2001 for deliveries to pointsbetween Cheyenne Hub and east Denver.
