Building Owners Choose New Energy Ventures

The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Tucson, AZ, chose New Energy Ventures as the energy service provider for its members with the goal of lowering members' electricity costs.

"We wanted our members to be well positioned for the coming competitive electric market in Arizona," said Eileen Lewis, president of BOMA of Greater Tucson. "After examining the many options available to us, it became apparent that New Energy Ventures was the best match for our needs. Their experience in other competitive markets will prove invaluable as we transition into customer choice, and I'm looking forward to working with them to bring these benefits to our members."

BOMA members can sign a standard, pre-negotiated deal for electricity supply with New Energy Ventures. Members can also purchase site generation units for their business locations, and will be evaluated for an energy audit of their facilities to determine ways to reduce energy use as a means to lower energy expenditures.

The BOMA of Greater Tucson membership, composed of building owners, managers, developers, leasing professionals, facility managers, asset managers, and the providers of goods and services, collectively represents all facets of the commercial real estate industry. In the greater Tucson metropolitan area, members manage 12.4 million square feet and own 4.2 million square feet of commercial real estate. BOMA of Greater Tucson is one of 95 local associations from the United States, Canada and around the world that make up BOMA International.
