The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of GreaterTucson, AZ, chose New Energy Ventures as the energy serviceprovider for its members with the goal of lowering members’electricity costs.

“We wanted our members to be well positioned for the comingcompetitive electric market in Arizona,” said Eileen Lewis,president of BOMA of Greater Tucson. “After examining the manyoptions available to us, it became apparent that New EnergyVentures was the best match for our needs. BOMA members can sign a standard, pre-negotiated deal forelectricity supply with New Energy Ventures. Members can alsopurchase site generation units for their business locations, andwill be evaluated for an energy audit of their facilities todetermine ways to reduce energy use as a means to lower energyexpenditures.

The BOMA of Greater Tucson membership, composed of buildingowners, managers, developers, leasing professionals, facilitymanagers, asset managers, and the providers of goods and services,collectively represents all facets of the commercial real estateindustry. In the greater Tucson metropolitan area, members manage12.4 million square feet and own 4.2 million square feet ofcommercial real estate.
