A direct lightning strike occurred Monday at Transwestern's Bisti Compressor Station (San Juan County, NM), prompting the pipeline to declare a force majeure. Transwestern expected the station to be down about three days, saying San Juan Lateral capacity would be reduced to 700,000 MMbtu/d through Thursday.

Columbia Gulf was still waiting Monday afternoon for a diving crew to arrive on-site to investigate a leak in the 24-inch line near a West Cameron Block 643 platform. Bubbles were reported on the water's surface Thursday afternoon, a pipeline spokesman said, but the divers had to finish another job before moving to the Columbia Gulf leak. There has been no interruption of service, he said.

Pacific Gas & Electric issued a high-inventory Stage 1 OFO with a 6% imbalance tolerance for Sunday but did not extend it.
