Koch Midstream Services Co. of Houston bought West Texasgathering and treating assets from Glossop Gas Co. Koch acquiredGlossop’s Chenot Putnam Gathering System and Treating Plant inPecos County, TX. The treating plant is capable of processing 10MMcf/d. The gathering system includes 33.5 miles of high-pressurepipeline. The system also includes existing production.

“In addition to enhancing our treating capabilities in WestTexas, these assets are strategically situated to expand ourexisting gathering infrastructure,” said John Gibson, president ofKoch Midstream Services. “The additional flexibility in moving gasvolumes between existing plants and the expanded capacity fitKoch’s long-term growth strategy for the West Texas Region.” Termsof the all-cash deal were not disclosed.

In addition to these assets, Koch Midstream Services owns andoperates its Coyanosa and Tippett processing plants, along withextensive high- and low-pressure gathering systems in West Texasand gathering systems, two treating facilities and three processingplants in East Texas.

“This is a great fit for our West Texas assets,” said Kochspokeswoman Mary Beth Jarvis. “Koch Midstream has now got naturalgas gathering and initial stage processing capabilities in two veryrobust and soon to be well integrated asset areas, West Texas andEast Texas. And this is a great fit with our West Texas assets.”
