Compressor damage is causing unscheduled maintenance on Unit C at Station 5 (Athol, ID), PG&E Gas Transmission-Northwest said Monday. At first a Kingsgate capacity limitation of 2,050 MMcf/d was expected to begin today and last through Thursday, but late Monday afternoon the pipeline said it was able to raise the Kingsgate ceiling to 2,200 MMcf/d "due to unseasonably cool ambient temperatures."

Tennessee reported being notified that Vastar Resources will no longer provide dehydration services for third parties at its Grand Chenier (LA) Processing Plant unless they enter into a contract for such services effective June 1, 1999. Tennessee reminded shippers upstream of Grand Chenier that they must make all necessary arrangements to comply with the pipeline's gas quality specs.
