Cinergy's PSI Energy subsidiary is looking for a new president following the retirement of John M. Mutz, who had been president of the electric utility since 1993.

The appointment of Bob Gee as assistant secretary for fossil energy at the Department of Energy was ratified by the Senate April 20. Gee has been acting in the post since December 1998 and previously had been DOE assistant secretary for policy and international affairs.
