El Paso's Caprock (NM) Station is down for emergency maintenance
that began Tuesday and will last at least through March 31. After
that point one of the two compressor units should be available, the
pipeline said. San Juan Crossover capacity is being limited to
about 550 MMcf/d. El Paso encouraged shippers to use the
Transwestern interconnect at Window Rock (AZ) to maximize flows
from San Juan Basin.
Kern River reported a combustor oscillation problem with its
Muddy Creek Compressor Unit No. 2 that requires installation of new
injectors. Thus Muddy Creek compression capacity will remain
restricted to 310 MMcf/d for today's gas day.
Citing processing plants that have been coming on-line during
March, Florida Gas Transmission said Thursday its overall system
has improved with regard to gas quality problems involving hexane
and heavier components. In light of increased market demand, FGT
said, it will accept full receipts starting April 1 at five
previously restricted Louisiana points: Neumin Production
(Calcasieu Parish), Amoco Judge Digby (Pointe Coupee Parish), Amoco
Port Hudson (East Baton Rouge Parish), Acadian W. Baton Rouge (West
Baton Rouge Parish) and Acadian Assumption (Assumption Parish).
