Steven T. Schlotterbeck has been named president of EQT Corp. As part of a corporate realignment, Schlotterbeck will also retain his responsibilities as president of exploration and production. As president, though, EQT said he will assume responsibility for human resources; environment; health; and safety and external affairs. Schlotterbeck joined EQT in 2000, serving in various engineering and management positions until 2008 when he was promoted to serve as president of exploration and production.

Darren W. Woods, 50, is taking over as president of ExxonMobil Corp. effective Jan. 1. Woods, who joined Exxon Co. International in 1992 as a planning analyst, is senior vice president of the corporation. He also has worked for ExxonMobil Refining & Supply Co., ExxonMobil Chemical Co. and he served as manager of investor relations for the corporation. Woods earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University. Rex W. Tillerson, 63, is continuing as chairman and CEO.
