MarkWest Energy Partners LP has struck long-term, fee-based agreements with Cimarex Energy Co. and Chevron Corp. to support development in the Permian Basin’s Delaware sub-basin in West Texas. Under terms of the agreements, MarkWest is to install a 200 MMcf/d cryogenic gas processing plant (Hidalgo Complex) in Culberson County. The facility is scheduled to enter operation in 2Q2016. "MarkWest has provided midstream services for Chevron in East Texas for more than a decade, and we are privileged to have the opportunity to serve them, as well as our new customer and operator of the joint development, Cimarex Energy," said MarkWest CEO Frank Semple. Details of the agreements were not disclosed.
