Are US LNG imports increasing or decreasing?

U.S. natural gas imports peaked in 2007 at roughly 4.61 Tcf, according to the Energy Information Administration. They have declined every year since. Increases in U.S. natural gas production have limited imports. Some LNG import facilities have been converted to export terminals. The U.S. Northeast still imports a small amount of LNG annually due to pipeline constraints.
