FERC on Wednesday approved construction of pipeline and other facilities proposed by Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line LLC (Transco) that would serve Cheniere Energy Inc.‘s liquefied natural gas export terminal at Sabine Pass in Louisiana. Last December Williams’ Transco Transco applied at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for its Gulf Trace Expansion to serve Sabine Pass Liquefaction LLC (see Daily GPI, Dec. 15, 2014). Transco plans to expand its system to provide 1.2 million Dth/d of firm, year-round service from its Station 65 Zone 3 Pool in St. Helena Parish, LA, southward along its mainline and Southwest Louisiana Lateral and through a new seven-mile lateral to the Sabine Pass terminal [CP15-29].
