A New Jersey Resources Corp. subsidiary has extended the binding open season to Dec. 8 for up to 250,000 Dth/d of firm transportation on an existing 84-mile pipeline in southeast Pennsylvania. Adelphia Gateway LLC extended the open season, launched in early November, in response to customer requests for a delivery interconnection with Columbia Gas Transmission (TCO) in Delaware County near the borough of Marcus Hook. For information contact David Johnson or Jack Herbert at openseason@adelphiagateway.com. The pipeline once delivered oil from a refinery, but a portion of the system now delivers natural gas. Adelphia wants to repurpose the remaining pipe to deliver more gas to the Philadelphia area.
