Radio talk show host Ron Morris has begun broadcasting a 12-part series on the Marcellus Shale on a Pittsburgh radio station, WMNY 1360, aimed at getting the facts about shale development.

The series, going into its second show Jan. 14, on the air and online, is scheduled every Friday from 3-5 p.m. eastern time. “The essence of our reportage vis-à-vis the Marcellus Shale is its truth-seeking,” according to the description of the series. “If nothing else, we intend to present unadulterated facts to our listeners. If the facts show economic benefit and relatively safe extraction methods, so be it. If they do not, then those chips must also fall where they may.”

Co-hosts include Terry Engelder, geosciences professor at Penn State University who is considered one of the foremost experts on the Marcellus Shale, and Barron McCune Jr., an attorney who is chairman of Washington County Energy Partners, a nonprofit collaboration of leading economic development organizations, elected officials and private businesses devoted to the economic development of Washington County and the surrounding regions.

The program originates at American Entrepreneur Radio, a three-hour call-in talk show run by Morris designed to help potential entrepreneurs build, grow, and exit their own start-ups. Advertisers for the Marcellus series include a number of E&P companies currently working in the Marcellus. Tune in at https://www.taeradio.com/marcellus-shale/ .
