QEP Resources CEO Charles Stanley has been elected chairman of America's Natural Gas Alliance (ANGA) for the 2014-2016 term. Stanley has more than 26 years of experience in upstream and midstream oil and natural gas operations. Previously he served as a director and as executive vice president and COO of Questar Corp. He also serves on the board of the American Exploration and Production Council and served on the board of Western Energy Alliance, formerly the Independent Petroleum Association of Mountain States. Southwestern Energy CEO Steve Mueller will become ANGA vice chairman. Mueller has been president and CEO of Southwestern since 2009 and has more than 30 years of experience in the industry. Stanley succeeds Apache Corp. CEO G. Steven Farris, who spearheaded ANGA's work to increase demand for natural gas.
