Southern said water levels are slowly receding around several of its receipt/delivery meters within the flood zones forecasted by the Army Corps of Engineers in South Louisiana’s Atchafalaya Basin. Facilities on Southern’s North Main System in west central Mississippi were accessible and ready to begin flow as early as Thursday, the pipeline said. It added that the Crosstex meter in the Atchafalaya Basin was placed back in service Thursday and would be available for flow on the next available scheduling cycle. Eight other points remain out of service due to the flooding.
