Citing Florida forecasts of high temperatures in the low 90s, Florida Gas Transmission issued an Overage Alert Day for market-area customers Tuesday, setting the tolerance for negative daily imbalances at 25%.

Southern reported experiencing an unscheduled pipeline outage on the 10-inch diameter Gadsden Branch Line in St. Clair County, AL, that required shutting in the Petronova Wattsville receiving station within the section of pipeline that is being isolated. Southern said it was reducing the station’s scheduled volume to zero starting with Tuesday’s Timely cycle nominations until further notice.

Gulfstream said linepack was at the high end of its range of acceptable operating levels and appealed to shippers to avoid underdeliveries from its system.

Southern California Gas said it lost 500 MMcf/d of withdrawal capacity at the Honor Rancho storage field Monday as it began dehydration system maintenance and inspections; they are expected to last through June 30.

ANR said it is continuing repairs and maintenance at various compressor stations along its Southeast Mainline (SEML). The work will cause these reductions in SEML capacity north of Cottage Grove (from a base of 1,294 MMcf/d): 135 MMcf/d, April 20-30; 70 MMcf/d, May 1-June 30; and 330 MMcf/d, July 1-31. Based on current nominations, the reductions may result in the curtailment of Firm Secondary and IT services, ANR said.

Southern Star Central plans annual maintenance and emergency shutdown testing from Saturday through April 29 on its Line Segment 490 (Rawlins to Hesston). The work will cause capacity reductions of 18% to 159,695 Dth/d at Riner Station in Sweetwater County, WY, and 5% to 175,018 Dth/d at St. Francis Station in Sheridan County, KS, the pipeline said.

Rager Mountain Storage said it proposes to offer 2 Bcf of newly available working gas capacity at its facility in Cambria County, PA. The capacity is made possible through a lease arrangement between Rager Mountain and Pittsburgh-based Peoples Natural Gas, the storage company said. Injections and withdrawals at the facility are connected to Texas Eastern in Zone M-3. Rager Mountain said its service will provide additional storage options to East Coast market participants in need of market-area storage, “particularly in the burgeoning production zone of the Marcellus Shale.” See the company’s website for bidding details.
